Mark Forster

Mark Forster was born on January 11, 1984 in Kaiserslautern. His extraordinary musical talent became apparent at an early age. At the age of 17, he began writing his own songs and played in various local bands. Career

Mark Forster’s breakthrough came in 2014 with his hit “Au revoir”, which was written in collaboration with Sido. The song was a huge success and reached high chart positions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. It marked the beginning of an impressive career in the German music scene.

Another major success was the song “Flash mich” from the album “Bauch und Kopf”, released in 2015. The song was praised by critics and fans alike and cemented Mark’s position as an outstanding singer-songwriter.

EFF is a name that has become well-known in the music scene in recent years. Behind it is the collaboration between Mark Forster and Felix Jaehn. Felix and Mark met in Vienna in the summer of 2015. The name EFF was created from the first letters of their names.

Also in Hamburg’s oldest sailor’s pub “Zum Schellfischposten” Mark was a guest on 2018 and 2023 “Ina’s Night”hosted by Ina Müller.

Mark and Luna released the song “Eine Stunde Schlaf” in February 2024.

Mark Forster and Lena Meyer-Landrut met in 2015 on a very special TV show – “The Voice Kids“. Both worked as coaches on the popular talent show, mentoring and supporting young singing talents.

During their time as coaches on “The Voice Kids”, the two developed not only a professional but also a deep personal relationship. Their shared passion for music and enthusiasm for promoting young talent brought them closer together.

The couple’s happiness was made perfect by the birth of their son in 2021. The small family enjoys life away from the public eye and still manages to inspire their fans and admirers with their love and family happiness.

Mark on TV

Mark is simply unstoppable! In 2017, 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2024, he took part in the casting show “The Voice of Germany” took part. Among others, he sat on the jury with Yvonne Catterfeld, Michi and SmudoStefanie Kloß, Peter MaffaySamu Haber and of course himself.
