Flo Mega, born on December 7, 1979 in Bremen under the real name Florian Bosum, is a German soul singer. soul singer from Bremen. His stage name is made up of the beginning of his first name “Flo”(-rian) and the last letter of the Greek alphabet Ω = “Omega”.

Raised and born in the city of seafaring, which is reflected in Hanseatic buildings, the Bremen Roland and the Bremen Town Musicians, Flo Mega laid the foundations for his impressive musical career in the hip-hop genre. Here he worked with local greats such as FlowinImmO and Zentrifugal and gained his first experience in the music business. His passion for music also led him to the University of the Arts in Bremen, where he further refined his musical talent. From insider tip to soul sensation

In 2007, Flo Mega began a successful collaboration with the Berlin soul and funk band Ruffcats, which further refined his sound and helped him become even better known. In 2010, he took the plunge and signed a record deal with Homeground Records, a Four Music label. Shortly afterwards, he released his EP “Filmriss”, which impressed with five German-language soul tracks.

However, he only made his breakthrough in 2011 with his debut album “Die wirklich wahren Dinge”. With the song “Zurück”, he took second place at the Bundesvision Song Contest 2011. These successes cemented his position in the German music scene, accompanied by tours, TV appearances and numerous awards, including “Album of the Year 2011” from Bremen radio station Bremen Vier. He has appeared on TV shows such as “Schlag den Raab” and on the show presented by Ina Müller television program “Ina’s Night” in Hamburg’s oldest sailor’s pub “Zum Schellfischposten” performed.

A voice that touches

On January 24, 2014, Flo Mega released his second studio album “Mann über Bord”, which once again showcases his extraordinary vocal talent and versatile musicality. He also took part in the Bundesvision Song Contest with the song “Gedicht”. He contributed a song about the former left-back Jonny Otten to the sampler “Lauter Werder” for the 120th anniversary of SV Werder Bremen. As an artist who never forgets his roots, Flo Mega is still firmly anchored in the hearts of his fans in Bremen and Krefeld on the Lower Rhine, where he lives from time to time.
