Daniela Katzenberger

Daniela Katzenberger, born on October 1, 1986 in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, has made a name for herself in the German entertainment industry. Known as a reality TV star, author, actress, singer and occasional model, she has developed from a simple model to a successful all-round entertainer. Early years and first steps

The 1.65 m tall Daniela Katzenberger grew up as the daughter of Iris Klein and Jürgen Katzenberger with her brother and half-sister Jennifer Frankhauser in Ludwigshafen. Her parents separated in 1990, whereupon her mother became increasingly involved in the media world and eventually became known as a pioneer of reality TV through her participation in Big Brother. This familial proximity to the media world also shaped Katzenberger’s career. In 2002, she graduated from the Kopernikus secondary school and two years later completed her training as a state-certified beautician in Mannheim. Katzenberger’s TV career began in 2009 with the VOX show Auf und davon – Mein Auslandstagebuch, which documented her failed attempt to apply to Hugh Hefner in Los Angeles for Playboy. After that, she frequently appeared in reality formats, played herself in various shows and became an audience favorite thanks to her authenticity and self-irony. Katzenberger continuously expanded her career and never allowed herself to be tied down to one role. In between appearances in docu-soaps and reality formats, she produced her own song, created a shoe collection and hosted shows such as 3 Boxen – dein Style and Traumhochzeit zum Schnäppchenpreis on RTLZWEI. In 2016, she and her husband Lucas Cordalis took part in the RTL dance show Dance, Dance, Dance! and in 2020 the couple surprised viewers as a meerkat duo in the show The Masked Singer.

Daniela Katzenberger has been privately married to Lucas Cordalisthe son of the famous pop singer Costa Cordalisin a relationship. Their daughter Sophia was born in August 2015. In 2016, Katzenberger auctioned off her wedding dress for 7,000 euros at the RTL telethon for a good cause.
