Kristina Bach, whose real name is Kerstin Bräuer, was born on April 7, 1962 in Mettmann. She is a German pop singercomposer, lyricist and music music producer. Her big breakthrough came in 1990 with the song “Erst ein Cappuccino”.

Career

Kristina Bach has been involved with music since her childhood and is busily pursuing her career as a singer. At the age of 13, she won a young talent competition and decided to train in singing and dancing after school. She also took acting lessons.

Bach was discovered as a singer in the 1980s. She recorded her first single ‘Donna Maria’ in 1983 and had her first success in 1984 with the revival of the old hit ‘Heißer Sand’ (originally sung by Mina) from the 1960s. Further hits and appearances on radio and television followed at the end of the 1980s.

Kristina is one of the most successful German singers and has been for more than three decades. After her big breakthrough in 1990 with the song “Erst ein Cappuccino”, the thoroughbred musician has released 15 albums to date. She has won the German Schlager Parade six times in a row and has received numerous gold and platinum awards. Kristina Bach is also a top music producer, lyricist and composer. Among other things, she has written number one hits for Jeanette Biedermann. Most recently, she wrote the mega hit for Helene Fischer “Atemlos durch die Nacht”, which can now also be found in an English version on her own album.

Kristina Bach – First a cappuccino

In the 1990s, Bach discovered the singer Michelle and introduced her to the producer Jean Frankfurter. In 1994, Bach took part in the German Schlager Festival with the song “Matador” and reached 5th place. She also received the Silver Muse for second place as a lyricist at the same event, while Michelle took first place with the track “Silbermond” and “Sternenfeuer”. Bach later produced her own songs and helped Michelle make a comeback as a producer and songwriter.

Kristina Bach works as a lyricist and composer for Helene Fischer and her new discovery Cappuccinos, who are also under her management. She has written numerous songs for Jeanette Biedermann and was the producer of DSDS contestant Annemarie Eilfeldwho released an album in 2011, from which a single was released. As the album did not make it into the charts, the contract was terminated prematurely. From March to April 2011, she took part in the fourth season of Let’s Dance alongside Erich Klann.

Bach has withdrawn from the public eye for several years. She has not released any new music since 2015. There has also been no news on her social media channels since 2018. In 2021, she appeared in front of the camera when she was awarded the Fred Jay Award. Frank Ramond presented her with the award. She was one of the star guests at the Schlagernacht am Kalkberg in 2022.
