Armin van Buuren<\/strong>, born on December 25, 1976 in Leiden (Netherlands) as Armin Jozef Jacobus Dani\u00ebl van Buuren, is far more than just a DJ. He is a phenomenon that has been shaping the electronic music landscape for decades. His unmistakable trance sound and his passionate dedication to music have earned him the nickname “King of Trance”. <\/p>\n\n

The beginnings of Armin van Buuren<\/h2>\n\n

Armin discovered his love of music at an early age. In his parents’ home, which was filled with classical sounds, he developed a deep appreciation for the art of making music. Inspired by the music of Jean-Michel Jarre<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and Ben Liebrand, he produced electronic dance music and since 1995 has released numerous tracks on various labels with growing success and started DJing in local clubs. <\/p>\n\n

His breakthrough came at the end of the 1990s, when he became internationally known with tracks such as “Blue Fear” and remixes for renowned artists such as Gouryella and Madison Avenue. Van Buuren’s ability to combine emotional depth with pulsating beats quickly made him a sought-after DJ. <\/p>\n\n

The rise to superstardom<\/h2>\n\n

In 2007, Armin van Buuren reached a milestone in his career: he was voted the best DJ in the world by the readers of DJ Mag magazine. He was able to defend this title several times in the following years, consolidating his status as the undisputed king of trance. <\/p>\n\n

Parallel to his DJ career, van Buuren founded the Armada Music label, which quickly became one of the leading record labels for electronic music<\/a><\/span><\/strong> music. Under its umbrella, he not only released his own works, but also promoted numerous talents. <\/p>\n\n
