Leony<\/strong> was born Leonie Burger<\/strong> on June 25, 1997 in Chamm\u00fcnster<\/strong> and is a German pop singer. pop singer<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and songwriter.<\/p>\n\n

Together with Julian Vogl and Maximillian B\u00f6hle, she took part in the RTL show Rising Star in 2014 under the band name Unknown Passenger. In the final, they received 92.77% of viewer votes for their version of Stay. During the show, they met their future manager Nik Hafermann. The band played a few gigs in smaller clubs, but then disbanded. Since then, Leony has been on the road as a solo artist. <\/p>\n\n

In 2016, she signed a contract with Sony Music in Australia. She then completed a vocal coaching course. She wrote her first songs in Sweden. In 2017, she released her first single “Surrender”<\/strong>. The song was used in a commercial for an underwear collection by Sylvie Meis. The single “Boots”<\/strong> followed in 2018 and “More Than Friends”<\/strong> in 2019. <\/p>\n\n

She then presented herself with a new team. Vitali Zestovskih and Mark Becker became her new managers and producers. Together with the DJ duo Vize and Sam Feldt, she released the single “Far Away from Home”<\/g>. Her breakthrough came in July 2020 with a reinterpretation of the Modern Talking song “Brother Louie”<\/g> and her single “Remedy”<\/g>, a collaboration with Vize, the Kazakh artist Imanbek and Dieter Bohlen<\/g><\/g><\/g>. In 2022, she was the musical godmother for Emilia and her song Outside and Inside on the TV show “Dein Song”<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

In 2022 and 2023, Leony was a guest on the program “The Giovanni Zarrella Show”<\/a><\/span><\/strong>hosted by Giovanni Zarrella<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

In the 20th season, she was a member of the jury for the casting show “DSDS – Deutschland sucht den Superstar” alongside Dieter Bohlen, Pietro Lombardi<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and Katja Krasavice<\/a><\/span><\/strong>. She wrote the final songs for the last contestants, two of which made it into the official charts in the DACH region.<\/p>\n\n

Leony has together with Felix Jaehn<\/a><\/span><\/strong> released the songs “Waking Up”<\/strong> and “By Your Side”<\/strong>. Boris Brejcha<\/a><\/span><\/strong> released the single “Miracle”<\/strong> together with Leony in February 2024. Leony sings the official song for the European Football Championship 2024 “Fire” together with the Italian electro formation Meduza<\/strong> and the American band One Republic<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

Leony took part in the TV show “Schlag den Star”<\/strong> in January 2024. Her opponent was model and GNTM winner Stefanie Giesinger<\/strong>. Malou Lovis Kreyelkamp<\/a><\/span><\/strong> took part in the show as a singer. <\/p>\n\n
