Lexie Liu<\/strong>, real name Liu Boxin, was born on December 21, 1998 and is a versatile Chinese pop singer. pop singer<\/a><\/span><\/strong>, rapper<\/a><\/span><\/strong> and songwriter. Growing up in Changsha, Hunan, she became interested in music at an early age and started dancing at the age of four and playing the piano at the age of six. Her artistic talent and passion led her to the international music scene at an early age. <\/p>\n\n

Liu’s career began in 2015 when she took part in the South Korean reality show K-pop Star 5<\/em> and came fourth with her group. After this experience, she took part in the Chinese show The Rap of China<\/g> in 2018, where she also came fourth. Her song Mulan<\/g> in particular made her known to a wider audience and marked the beginning of her solo career. In the same year, she signed with the renowned American label 88rising. <\/p>\n\n

In 2019, Lexie Liu released her first EP 2030<\/em> with tracks such as Outta Time<\/em> (feat. Killy) and Love and Run<\/em>. Her debut album followed in December of the same year Meta Ego<\/g><\/g>which showcased her creative range and unique style between mandopop, hip-hop<\/g><\/g><\/g> and electronic elements. 2021 saw the release of her EP Gone Gold<\/g>, which deals thematically with the digital world and virtual identities. It was written and co-produced by Liu herself. <\/p>\n\n

Lexie Liu gained further international fame through her participation in the virtual K-pop band K\/DA by Riot Games. She lent her voice to the character Seraphine and was part of the song More<\/g>, which enjoyed worldwide success. <\/p>\n\n

In 2022, she released the album The Happy Star<\/strong><\/em>which featured the singles Fortuna<\/strong><\/em> and Magician<\/em>, which takes up the themes of tarot and mythology. The songs combine influences from Mandarin, English and Spanish with futuristic electro-pop elements. With her music and style, Lexie Liu remains a pioneer who continues to push boundaries and boldly develop her creative vision. <\/p>\n\n
