He is better known under the pseudonym <strong>And.Y<\/strong> or <strong>And.Ypsilon<\/strong> and is a member of the music group <strong>\n  <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/musiknerd.org\/kuenstler\/die-fantastischen-vier\/\" title=\"The Fantastic Four\">&#8220;The Fantastic Four&#8221;<\/a>\n  <\/span>\n<\/strong>. He works as a producer and DJ for his band as well as for other artists.  <\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Career<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>In 1986, together with Michael Bernd Schmidt alias <strong>\n  <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/musiknerd.org\/en\/artists\/smudo\/\" title=\"Smudo\">Smudo<\/a>\n  <\/span>\n<\/strong> the music duo &#8220;Terminal Team&#8221;. In 1989, Thomas D\u00fcrr, alias janitor <strong>\n  <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/musiknerd.org\/kuenstler\/thomas-d\/\" title=\"Thomas D\">Thomas D<\/a>\n  <\/span>\n<\/strong>and Michael Beck, alias <strong>\n  <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/musiknerd.org\/kuenstler\/michi-beck\/\" title=\"Michi Beck\">Michi Beck<\/a>\n  <\/span>\n<\/strong> or Dee Jot Hausmarke, joined them and founded &#8220;Die Fantastischen Vier&#8221;. <\/p>\n\n<p>Andreas Rieke, also known as And.Ypsilon, is not only active as a member of the Fantastischen Vier, but also as a producer for other artists. Together with Ralf Goldkind, he produced Thomas D&#8217;s second solo album &#8220;Lektionen in Demut&#8221;. In 2003, he released the album &#8220;Y-Files&#8221; with electronic music, from which the single &#8220;Test Tube Baby&#8221; was released. Rieke has also been a lecturer in producing at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts since 2008.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Another facet of Andreas Rieke&#8217;s work is the dubbing of the penguin Rico in the German version of the Madagascar film series.<\/p>\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Life<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p>After graduating from Immanuel-Kant-Gymnasium in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, Thomas D. began studying computer engineering at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences. However, he dropped out after five semesters due to his aspiring music career. <\/p>\n\n<p>In addition to his musical career, Andreas Rieke was married for three years, is now divorced and lives in Stuttgart, where he runs a recording studio. <strong>\n  <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\n    <a href=\"https:\/\/musiknerd.org\/en\/music-production\/recording-studio\/\" title=\"Recording studio\">recording studio<\/a>\n  <\/span>\n<\/strong> where he runs a recording studio.
